  • To keep your wooden cutting board looking beautiful and lasting for years:

    After Each Use

    • Hand-wash with warm water and mild soap.

    • Wipe clean. Do not soak or submerge in water.

    • Dry immediately with a towel.

    Important Do Nots

    • Do not place in the dishwasher (heat + water will warp and crack the wood).

    • Do not leave it sitting in water or a wet sink.

    • Do not use harsh chemicals or bleach.

    Oiling & Conditioning

    • Condition your board with food-grade mineral oil or board butter (beeswax/mineral oil blend).

    • Apply once a month - or more often if the board begins to look dry.

    • Rub evenly across the surface, let it soak in, and wipe off any excess.

    Deep Cleaning (Optional)

    • Sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda.

    • Rub with half a lemon to deodorize and lift stains.

    • Rinse quickly and dry fully.

    Storage

    • Store standing upright or in a dry area with good airflow.

    • Avoid direct sunlight or placing near heat sources.
